FOREIGN POLICY BRIEFING WITH AMBASSADOR CHRISTOPHER HILL, FEBRUARY 3, 2015
Ambassador Christopher Hill has been one of the most highly regarded members of the US foreign service having held many important posts. Hill will discuss foreign policy in an increasingly dangerous world, learned from the significant time he has spent in many of the most dangerous areas – from war in the Balkans, tense relations with North Korea and as US Ambassador to Iraq.
Hill is the distinguished former US Ambassador to Iraq, South Korea, Macedonia, and Poland, former US Assistant Secretary of State for East Asia, former US special envoy for Kosovo, a negotiator of the Dayton Peace Accords, and the chief US negotiator with North Korea from 2005-2009. He is currently the Dean of the Korbel School of International Studies, University of Denver. Ambassador Hill recently published Outpost.
