Ambassador Christopher Hill has been one of the most highly regarded members of the US foreign service.  Ambassador Hill will discuss US foreign policy learned from the time he has spent in many of the most dangerous areas – from war in the Balkans, tense relations with North Korea and as US Ambassador to Iraq.

Ambassador Hill is the distinguished former US Ambassador to Iraq, South Korea, Macedonia, and Poland, former US Assistant Secretary of State for East Asia,  former US special envoy for Kosovo, a negotiator of the Dayton Peace Accords, and the chief US negotiator with North Korea from 2005-2009.  He is currently the Dean of the Korbel School of International Studies, University of Denver. Ambassador Hill recently published Outpost.
